Unlike the Virtual/Hosted PBX that many IP Providers offer, On-Premise PBX requires a Dedicated server to be located in your premises and will allow you to connect your existing PSTN (BT,VIRGIN or TALK TALK) to the PBX. Virtual/Hosted PBX cannot be used to connect to your PSTN which means in the event of an internet outage, you loose phone connectivity. On-Premise PBX has more advanced features than the Virtual PBX ,but best of all you can configure your VOIP account with it. It is based around Fonality's trixbox CE edition.
