I think VOIP combined with mobiles and landline is a good thing that has happened to us.I travelled to spain and my MOM was able to call me as if i was still in UK, I bought a UK geographical number. Thanks

The IP Phones (though more expensive)are better than the free softphone, the softphone sometimes has echo.overall good quality.
